Gwynedd-Valley, PA - On Friday, December 18th, the Gwynedd-Mercy College Men’s Basketball Team helped spread some holiday cheer as the squad visited the Stenton Family Manor, a shelter in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia for the less fortunate.

The team brought a variety of presents: from puzzles to bubbles to stuffed animals to playing cards.  Each player brought a large stocking filled with these goodies and more to give to the kids, along with some much needed winter clothes and a ton of books to add to the shelter's library.

There was somewhere around 20 kids there, and spent the day playing games, reading books, talking basketball, playing "Store", etc.  It was an enjoyable event for all as the players, kids, and families all had one great time.
